I bought these mostly for heavy deadlifts so I can concentrate on the lift & not trying to keep the bar from slipping out of my hands. The padding for the wrists is very comfortable & the straps don't dig into them. I like the feel of the suede as is adds to the grip on the bar & in my hands. They're plenty long enough to get 2 good wraps (with a little extra) on a bar for a good hold. There's six rows of stitching across them & they seem to be holding up well except for one spot where a stitch came undone where two stitches overlap. I'll just add some superglue to keep it from unraveling anymore. For the price & comfort, you can't beat these!
