Overall it’s an ok desk. I’ve put this type of furniture together all my life and this was one of the most challenging ones. I could have used a second set of hands.There were several of the inset nuts on the underside of the desktop (for the bolts that connect it to the frame) that were loose so it couldn’t be tightened down. Also, one side of the frame didn’t match up to the other, and the adjoining desktop pieces don’t line up, so there is a ridge/bump going from one section to the other. I’m not even using the separate piece because there aren’t any predrilled holes and the screws are so tiny, it’s difficult to get it screwed in. And there are 8 of those screws, so it’s not being utilized. The only reason I didn’t return the desk is because it was too much trouble putting it together and it’s still functional, just not perfect.
