I milled the 2 aluminum pieces with one of these end Mills and it's still sharp. The black piece was from another time. These end Mills are sharp. They get into aluminum with minimal radial force. Nice chips. Smooth to the touch surface finish on the parts. I can't comment on life span at this point but based on the two pieces I made the value is definitely good.
