One day this Spring, after endless day after day after day of clouds/rain/grey skies I'd about had it. Finally got this light box after thinking about it for awhile - now wish I would have gotten it much sooner, back in the middle of winter! I definitely noticed an improvement in my mood and energy level - I can actually "feel" the light working - that sounds crazy, but it's true! I started out with just 5" at a time, then upped it to 10" after a couple days, and gradually worked my way up to 20-30" at a time. I never had any issues with headache or nausea; I think if I had started out with 30" right away I might have? Instructions say do NOT look directly at the light. DON'T. I even look away slightly when moving it/adjusting it/turning it on/off.I set this off to the side on my nightstand and first thing in the morning turned it on and read a little bit, scrolled though my phone, had some coffee - whatever - while this light was on. That's all it takes! Definite energy and mood boost. I read up a little on how this works, I sort of understand it, but doesn't matter - it works. It's fairly compact, I wouldn't say small, but fits on my nightstand.Definitely recommend!
