The rope appears good quality and I am happy with it. I wanted to write a review simply based on the appropriate length to purchase. I purchased the 1.5 x 30' ft. rope based on a review that I would get more versatile use out of it. Turns out that it is too short for me to use for standard 'battle rope workouts'. I used to be in much better shape, but still at my reduced fitness level the 30' is a little short and doesn't provide enough rope weight. I can work the 'waves' of the rope to easily to the base. If you are in moderately good shape I would go for the 50' length.
