I tell you what this thing is just about perfect for beginners in beekeeping! Didn't give it 5 star only because of the direction it came with. Also got it a day early which surprised me. This baby right here smelt heavenly when I dumped it out of the box. Very well coated with wax. I did pre drill every dovetail joint so I wouldn't have any issues with splitting the wood. This far exceeded my expectations that I already ordered another one. THE SAME DAY I PUT THIS ONE TOGETHER. Hands down beautiful hive box. My girlfriend and I pretty much had a kid free date putting this together which topped off my evening. Wine helps also.
