I like the material of these pants. The slit goes up to your hip. And there is so much fabric that a slight breeze and everyone can see your business. I am 5'1 and so the fabric is loose and doesn't fit quite as expected. I still don't mind wearing them with shorts under. However the elastic immediately starred rolling on the waistband after taking it from the package. So I'm constantly straightening it. They are a little snugger around the waist than I expected. Overall I don't regret buying them.
