This is a very well built unit, at an incredibly low price. My test is only done using the Key Drill Chuck with 1/4" shank driven by my Dewalt XR drill. What is impressive is the maker warned this unit is not for counter-clockwise operation very clearly. However, I bought this unit to extract Torx 5 screw that stuck in my motherboard of MacBookPro Retina 15" laptop, and the screw top is damaged. The chuck design was meant for clockwise operation only. However, for this small screw, I used MicroGrabit#1 counter-clockwise screw extracting drill bit. This small drill bit was very tightly well held in this check, and when turned counter-clockwise, took out the screw. My test may not prove for a larger size or heavier job operation, where counter-clockwise would not work, but I am very happy it worked for my small screw job over the limit of its design. I concluded the precision of the chuck design held the drill bit so well it worked, and it is one type of proof I can share the quality of this product is very good.
