I read a few bad reviews here and expected a possible bad outcome.I received it last night and installed it this morning and ran about 9-10 minutes of water through my refrigerator. Initially the water was cloudy and after there was a slight charcoal or black sediment in the water. After about 5 minutes, the water started to look clear but I wanted to go thru the water cycle of 9-10 min even though instructions say 6-8 min.After, I was so surprised how clear the water looked and did not see any sediment.-No taste other than just clear water.-Smell test. No smell.-Visual test. Did not see anything floating around.Ready for the summer with the automatic ice maker! Good luck to all of you!
