I have had 4 of these soft gowns for over 2 years and had sadly gotten ink stains on 2 of them so recently I ordered 2 more. For two+ years I have machine washed the gowns on delicate and hung them to dry with no fading or shrinking. I sleep in them year round. The exceptional softness and duribility of the cotton knit exceeds ones I have paid twice and more for in the past. At 5'6" they come on me to slightly lower mid- calf. My husband is a "romantic" and likes that I am a girly- girl and thinks I look very pretty in these. His favorite one is white with pale pink roses. They all come with a bit of lace and ribbon trim at the top front. The soft pastel colors are so lovely that, like me, you' ll want several. I'm thinking I want the white one with pale blue roses next. They arrive really quickly too!
