This top is a lot cuter from afar than it is up close. I really like the vivid red & black flannel material of the collar and bodice, but was caught a bit off-guard by the tee-shirt-like fabric of the body of the top, which I fear may not retain it's vivid color when washed. Also because it is tee-shirt material, the two front pocket with buttons tend to droop more than lie flat. On my 5'7" frame, the length feels more like a short dress than a tunic top, which with the handkerchief hem looks to me more matronly than fashionable. Proportionally, it's just a little off. I'll like employ my seamstress skills to short the top and create a straight hem, to make it look more like a classic tunic top.
