In my experience, weedless props are not weedless. They are just weed resistant. Once a weed wraps itself around the prop and housing. You have to pull the motor. So far I have had pretty good luck with the Katana 2 blade design. It works very well at chopping up the weeds before they wrap up. I have yet to pull the motor up. The 2 blade design does come at a sacrifice tho. The trolling motor is slower than the 3 blade prop I had before. For me this in not a bad trade off. More fishing verses cleaning the trolling motor off.
