Installed these 9005/9006 anti flicker resistors on my 2011 Dodge Avenger 3.6and they appear to work as advertised however the advertisement also states "these resistors get hot" and that is a ridiculous UNDERSTATMENT.At an ambient temperature of 80°F my thermal probe reads 365°F at the aluminum body of the resistor and 231°F on the wires.If my car doesn't burn to the ground first I'll be attaching each pair of these to an aluminum heat sink with some thermal compound in an attempt to wick away some extra heat!
