The camera has been operating without a hitch for several months. The price was the primary consideration while purchasing, which made me extremely happy since it was only 670. We observed price tags of about 1000 or even 1200 in most stores, which is regrettable given how inflated most prices are. Which is not surprising given that cameras of comparable quality cost around the same, and yet shops appear to gain more money as a result of the popularity of this model. Without interpolation, the maximum resolution during transmission is 800 by 600 pixels, and I really enjoyed the visual quality. Even under extremely dim lighting circumstances, there is no image slowdown and no lag or delay in the transmission of anything. The only drawback mentioned is the white stripes in the image, which are probably the result of a software error. In actuality, most people manually set the brightness to its highest level when the auto-adjustment of image brightness gain is disabled (which works pretty poorly), which is why these bands occur. When the image brightness is sufficient, the stripes do not appear if the auto-adjustment option is first checked and then unchecked by manually adjusting all the parameters.
