I was in desperate need of some good winter boots with a decent tread on them because we had a storm coming to town and my Clarks boots that I've owned for nearly 5 years finally gave in. Well in my search I came across these and I just love everything about them. The height of the heel and the height of the boot is perfect, Just above the ankle but not to far up the calves for us "WIDE CALF" girls. The souls are a LITTLE hard but seriously, for the PRICE you can not get a better pair of boots.
