I have hard wood floors throughout my house, this includes my bedroom, when I get out of bed in the morning on a child day I don't like freezing cold feet so I wasted a rug that would be soft & pretty but also washable because I have pets & this fit all of that. I love the coloring it bright & vibrant the colors are really gorgeous. The feel, oh I love the feel of this, it's so soft & fuzzy on my feel. It has the perfect furry, feel good, my dogs love to lie on it as well. I haven't had reason to wash it yet but it so far it hasn't picked up any stains from our dogs feet, occasionally a leaf will be brought in & get caught but it's easy enough to pick up. I'm very happy with this purchase & it's there perfect size to fit in front of my bed but not engulf my room. The only bad thing is that it's super slippery but again I have hardwood floors but this doesn't seem to have much of any "grip" on it to catch into the floor to stop it from sliding so my dogs sometimes slide on when they jump off my bed.Update: I've had this for quite awhile now & had to wash it multiple times, the one disadvantage to having dogs, and I have to say this not only has held up really well in the washer but it is still as soft as the day that I got it. I'm still so happy I that I choose this rug. I love the feel of walking on it & the fact I can throw it in the washer without worrying about it is so amazing. I would definitely recommend this to anyone!
