This is a great deal on knitting needles. Almost all of the needles themselves were smooth and free of any splinters or scratches that might snag yarn. I did find two with minor issues, but a piece of fine grit sandpaper fixed them right up. I didn't try to use them before sanding, so it might not have caused any issues to begin with.The smallest needles make me a bit nervous. I haven't actually used them yet, due to fear of snapping one in half. I knit with pretty tight tension on dpns and I'm not sure exactly how much stress they will take. The rest of the sizes have held up great after several projects.
