ALMOST correct design
I wanted this to be a nice *decorative piece* I will add, the maps (seams) on the map don't line up perfectly, but it's a decorative globe not a teaching globe. I love the *black globe* feel to it.What I don't like about this globe is the design. I LOVE the metal curved piece, but it is connected to a wooden peg. Attached is a picture of what I received, it isn't colored like the one in the sales page picture. The marble at the bottom is nice, heavy, and shiny.I had to return.
- completed my living room perfectly! it looks pretty and is study and well crafted!
- Limited use: While the Stylish And Chic: 7" X 7" X 11" Teal Marble Globe With Marble Base By Deco 79 is undoubtedly a beautiful decoration piece, it may not offer much practical use beyond that. With its small size and lack of informational markings, it may not be the best option for those who are avid globe users or need it for educational purposes
