Heat shrink is way to short!
As expected, the heartshrink that comes with these butt crimp splices does not offer enough end protection for my comfort. Fortunately I only bought these for the butt connectors and not the heat shrink. The butt crimps work great. So now you know what to expect. (Pictured are the 16-24 and 12-10 awg. I suspect the same results with the other sizes.
