I LOVE this backpack! I have a DSLR and a laptop and have been looking forever for a tidy way to carry them both onto an airplane. This backpack delivered. On a recent trip to San Francisco, It securely handled my laptop, my camera, snacks, a book, magazines, cables, and there was still room for my toiletry bag. It's the perfect carry-on, and I had easy camera access even when it was fully loaded.When I got to San Francisco, I had one free day to roam the city with my camera. and it was raining all day. I unzipped the rain cover on the backpack, covered it up, and I was good to go. The backpack stayed dry all day. I wish I could say the same for my socks! Keeping the cover on also gave me a little extra piece of mind while riding the train. That was not a feature I even considered when making this purchase, but it proved quite useful.I have seen no issues so far (after 4 months) with the laptop compartment zipper, though I was aware of some concerns with it when I bought this backpack.Get one! You'll love it.
