These fit as I would expect them to- I used my measurements and the chart to choose my size and they fit perfectly. I like to contra dance, but have learned that I prefer to have some kind of shorts on under my skirts and dresses for modesty's sake as well as to prevent chub-rub. These are somewhat slippery/shiny, which works well when you don't want your bottoms to cling. They are constructed in such a way that you don't need to wear any additional underwear, so no panty-lines. Also, they really made me feel cute knowing that if my skirt flew up while dancing, there was something pretty underneath that still covered this 40 something's backside properly!
