These add significant thickness, not noticable at a glance, so material must be firmer. I have to wear thinner socks with these insoles, which I might have surmised from the description, but didn't. Thought it good to leave a review in case someone else is thinking they are a direct swap. FWIW, although the Superfeet are almost twice as much, they also last twice as long or longer, making them a better buy in my opinion. The Superfeet blue insoles are close to the Oboz original insoles in cushioning and size.
