This is your standard polyester horsehair braid. Exactly what I thought I was ordering. I used this for the bottom of a silk charmeuse wedding gown that needed the hemline to spread out rather than draping in on itself. It gave it enough movement and flow that it didn't look stiff and unnatural but increased the mermaid look like I was going for.
- Worked perfectly for making a Halloween costume for my baby!
- The length of the braid may be too long for those who do not need to use it in large quantities, creating a storage problem
