Before ordering the size, please be advised they run big! My Daighter is a size 2 at 11months. The size 6-12 was a size (maybe a bit more) too large. I LOVED them so much I reordered the same shoe in 0-6M. she still has a little space. I AGREE it seemed a little hard to put her foot in, but they fit perfectly! So, if you have a child with chunky ankles it may be ankle snug. Ankle material stretches, but once on it’s your call. The material is light weight. The sole is good enough to walk. Breathable material. I am ordering another one !
