I'm a grad student so I spent all hours of the day on my computer. This is a very sturdy stand that with some careful packing can fit in my tote purse along with my computer and books. I've had people ask me in the coffee shop where I got it because it's so much better than the other flimsy stands. I have one for the office and one for home/coffee shops.
