Based on my experience, this hole saw is not ideal for cutting through porcelain tiles. The diamond-coated blade barely made a dent in the tile leaving a rough and uneven surface. The only positive is that it was easy to attach to the drill. However, the cons far outweigh the pros and I would not recommend this TOOL for anyone in the market for an effective ceramic tile cutter..
