The thread length of 2 inches worked great as my boat has a thick hull
If your bass boat has a thicker transom like mine does this fitting works great, The first one I ordered was to short, I suggest when you pull your original fitting you measure the depth of the hole before you order one.
- The part fit like a champ! I received it in a timely manner.
- Outer flange cracked on installation. Hand tightens only.
