Yes, this is an inexpensive cheaply-made bell. The ringer part even extends below the edge of the bell, which means you have to put in effort to position it properly. But it gets the job done!We got it so my daughter could ring for assistance during her upcoming wisdom teeth surgery. Joke's on us! Now she's using it to ring for assistance with her broken foot. (If you want to give God a good laugh, tell him your plans for the future.) And her wisdom teeth surgery has been postponed.It works just fine. She rang it earlier and I heard it from downstairs through a closed door. Faintly, but I heard it.
- I bought it for my 2y old child who likes all kind of bells.
