The Google Pixel, like many modern smartphones, is an excellent device with hand ergonomics equivalent to a bar of soap. This case is essentially a flexible tinted transparent bumper with a clear polycarbonate back. It provides some added grip and minimal drop protection for the phone without concealing the phone's design aesthetic.Functionally, Ringke got most of the details right. The charging port and 3.5mm headphone jack cutouts are generously sized, the side button overlays are crisp to press (though I'd be happier if they had textured the on/off button), and the camera cutout doesn't seem to interfere with the camera's functionality. There are also four molded-in nubs on the back corners of the case, so that the case shouldn't pick up too much dirt when laid face-up on a table.I took off a star for fit and finish issues. There are inconsistent seams in the molding and where the bumper and backing meet. It makes me wonder how long it'll take before the case starts to delaminate. Time will tell.
