This is exactly what we needed. It works with AA Batteries which is great because I can put fresh batteries when I need to use the lamp. Otherwise it works with a corded USB charger. Though the charger is not included, it works with any charger plug. We use our iPhone plug in end and it works fine. The charger is a misnomer because it does not seem to have rechargeable batteries (very light lamp). It just works while plugged in. It is very elegant and can be shaped to the user's tastes. The light emitted is not overly bright, but enough for a romantic al fresco dinner table in the back yard.
