My husband is not diabetic. He has lots of broken veins, swelling, and circulation problems.These socks are more cushioned than regular socks. My husband is over six feet and thin. He got a size large and they fit perfectly. We use the measurement from Nuvein when he got knee length with more compression. He normally gets 15-20mmHg which he loves.However, sometimes he just wants to take a break from his legs being compressed. This compression is light 8-15mmHg. They are nicely cushioned and his toes are not squeezed in.These need to be hand wash with mild soap and lukewarm water. Do not wring out. Blot with towel to remove excess water.Right now my husband needs more compression. When he needs a break he will use these.
