Very bright white light (5000k) with three adjustable led light panel. Adjusting the panels help improve light distribution but still not ideal or uniform 360 degree . Just the nature three flat led panels. A bigger issue is when mounted on a 8 foot ceiling there is a lot of glare in your eyes so keep looking down. Some sort of defuser lens (white plastic) might have helped. May wish to see if other maker include them. Also see if any offer lights with the LEDs mounted on curved panel to give better light distribution. It is replacing a 300watt large frosted incandescent bulb that had great light distribution, less glare, warmer color, lots of heat and 3600 lumens of light. I suspect if put back in, I will appreciate the new led fixture more. It used really used to agrovate me when I forgot that 300w monster on.
