Using this puzzle play mat, our team found that the pieces fit together perfectly, and the mat didn't slip or slide during playtime. The only downside we found was that the mat is not as thick as some other play mats, but it still provides plenty of cushion and padding for roughhousing .Overall this is a great addition to any collection of toys and games..
