Soft & warm. I like nightgown loose. Got x lg when I am often L. Reading reviews I up-sized. The amount of shrinkage was perfect. Still plenty of room. I am 5’1”, 160. Comes to my knees. Probably could have worn lg but the XL is perfect for comfort.
