… olfactory-sensitive folks.This BB cream applies nicely with fingers, then pounced over with a damp beauty sponge (that’s been wrung out in an absorbent towel first). But even the lightest shades wouldn’t suit a fair-skinned person.Also, it’s more opaque than I would’ve expected—not a bad thing, necessarily—and thicker upon application, but using maybe a pea-sized amount to cover the face would do which unfortunately makes this unsuitable for proper sun protection. Basically you can go for an overdone-makeup look to properly utilize the sunscreen aspect of the product (and might as well with how strong the physical sunscreen/titanium dioxide smell is—which doesn’t fade at all to me throughout the day—because that’ll surely stick with you), or you get a nice-looking BB cream without the sun protection if you apply it in a natural-looking amount…So best case scenario: This product is amazing for someone who wants to start using sunscreen, and doesn’t want a lot of layers underneath to achieve a full-face makeup look. If you live closer to the Equator, I wouldn’t recommend this as a primary form of sun protection.For me, I’m just going to stick with the Dr. Jart Camo Drops for natural-looking coverage with some sun protection and maybe use this on the days I want heavier skin camouflaging, still with "some” sun protection; and on outdoorsy days, I’ll make sure to use EltaMD’s UV RESTORE (zinc oxide-based = better healing properties and no stinky sunscreen smell) physical sunscreen partnered with either listed-above tinted sunscreens for proper protection.
