I won a costume contest with this cape and would recommend it. It is warm and also fairly elegent for the price. The internal pattern is sort of Victorian looking and I would almost wear it to the opera. The cape kept me warm during a night walking tour in light rain and fairly heavy San Francisco winds. The length was perfect for me and I am about 5'7". It came right to the ground. If you are shorter, it will drag (although that may be a look you are seeking). The hood is a little large but that was what I wanted for my Grim Reaper costume. I don't normally keep cloaks but I am keeping this one.
