Bought this for my 2.5 y/o nephew. He has super fine curly hair and he's a back sleeper. He gets full on dreadlocks on the back of his head. My sister had successfully got him to sit still to brush out his hair twice and it took hours. 2 days later the dreadlocks were back both times. Still hard to get him to sit still but this brush can de-dread his hair in 20 min or less, it's amazing. We paired it with a leave in conditioner to make it even easier. My sister has super straight hair, any brush works for her and it detangles super easy, she hadn't even realized her son might need a special brush until I sent her this, now she swears by it.His sister, who's 4.5 y/o, has similar hair (minus the dreadlocks from back sleeping) and uses it as well. She loves that it's super gentle on her sensative scalp and the handle is comfortable enough to hold that she can brush her own hair.
