I bought this for a Whirlpool French Door refrigerator built in probably the late 90's or early 2000's. Most parts places were quoting $85 or more. I found this one using the part number from the various appliance parts websites. I figured for less than $15 it was worth a shot. The part fit fine. The only thing was the capacitor was mounted toward the bottom and the original was toward the top on the relay portion. Had to do a little bending to the retainer wire that holds the unit firmly in place on the compressor. Install time was maybe 15 minutes and most of that was tweaking that wire retainer and screwing the cover back on. This is a secondary refrigerator in our garage and this part was a life saver!
