This does exactly what we want. It holds the cup reliably and securely, and it is easy to remove the cup.It is important to use a covered cup, or, if not, to not have liquid in the cup - at least in our house. We use it with a knee scooter. We have a variety of rugs, runners, and different floor types. When the scooter crosses those bumps with an open glass, liquid bounces out.Using a covered cup is one of our solutions. Another is using a bottle with the cap screwed on. Most often, we have an open glass with ice in it, and carry a closed bottle in the scooter basket. Carrying the glass in this works very well, every time.
