Great for nighttime
My mother did not want to pay for a service each month, but as our bedrooms are at opposite ends of a large house, I was worried about not hearing her if she needed me in the night. This works so great. I plugged the receiver into an outlet in my bedroom, and she has the alert necklace. When she gets up to go to the bathroom she can push the button if she needs me. I rest better knowing she is protected.
