While these serving trays are certainly nice enough to use for displays of salt-and-pepper and sauces and napkins on a table or any kind of grown up serving tray for a party, we actually use these types of trays for Lego bricks. I really like that they look clean and classy and keep the Legos contained around our house when my kids are working on the Lego project. Usually they come up with an idea of what they want to do, pile all of the bricks for that project onto a single tray, and work right on the tray to develop the project. What is nice is that when they are done, they can put all the bricks for that particular project back into the tray and I can tell you with certainty that having three attractive and grown-up looking trays with Legos in them on my floor looks a whole lot tidier and is so much easier to clean up to run the vacuum or have a guest over, then are random piles of Legos, every one of which is precious and must be kept exactly where it was put so that whatever child it belongs to doesn't lose his or her special pile of bricks for their project they are working on.These trays are nicely constructed, are not threatening to fall apart even after a couple of weeks of heavy use by grown-ups and children and have a really classy look with the weathered gray wood. They go with my decor very nicely and have been serving their purpose perfectly. Nice quality, attractive look.
