I got these leggings for my girlfriend. Are they flattering? Yes. They have a diamond-mesh patterning in them which gives them a texture that isn't unpleasant but definitely not smooth like regular leggings. They are very flattering on the butt, however there is a big seam in the middle that is what causes the appearance to change. This causes some unpleasant wedgies, which makes these not the most practical for things like working out. If you want leggings to wear to lounge in, these are good, but they aren't good for working out. The black ones are not sheer.
