This is perfect for if you want to sweat around your stomach to lose weight. You can pull it as looser as tight as you want but of course the tighter the better. It is not a waist trainer but if you pull it tight enough it cinches the waist just slightly. I wore it for a couple hours during the day and it did produce quite a bit of sweat it was not extremely noticeable underneath my shirt but you can notice it a little bit of course. It was not uncomfortable to wear throughout the day. To clean if you can throw it in the washing machine or wipe it down really well.
