every one of these things had people claiming theirs went flat after a short time . mine actually blew up in 45 sec for the bed and 10 seconds for the pillow and did NOT go flat overnight. It is TRUE that the design (there is space between the air sacks and the air moves around . so if you put your knee or elbow on it . that will be FLAT ON THE FLOOR . because the air moves . but it does that as soon as you blew it up . when you LAY flat on it the cushion effect is fine. If you need MORE cushion, DO NOT CAMP OUT or carry a full 9" thick bed along.
