The zipper tangle and rip protection actually works. Handles abuse like being stuff and thrown around. I would not recommend for outdoor camping without heat. Although works for me in impromptu covered locations with above freezing ambient conditions. Appropriately sized for a grown person without extremities hanging out or cold breeze on the backside when sleeping on the side configured as a blanket
