I'm not sure how to judge how clean the air is because I didn't see any change. All I can do is hope that it does what it's supposed to do because I selected it based on other people's opinions. The benefits of it include: The appearance, the presence of air ionization and a UV lamp, the ability to switch off the backlight so that it does not shine at night, the straightforward operation, and the illumination. Some cons: My guess is that the lamp caught fire pretty rapidly, and you should probably replace the filter because it is really noisy.
