Feels extremely secure. My son was in a regular booster but we switched to this one when we had our 3rd child to do 3 in a row this one is more secure than his regular booster seat. The belt loops along the thigh doesn’t come undone. with his booster from Costco the belt could easily come from up under the arms. I’m looking to get the high back version when it’s back in stock and use this one as a spare because it’s folds and I have to help him install it otherwise he will sit on the front half and let the other half go behind him like a mini seat and I don’t like that. Hoping the high back will be better for him as it’s a whole seat. But other wise great booster! For reference My son is 6, 49lbs and about 48 inches tall.
