my English Springer Spaniel is now 12. I adopted him five years ago from a family who could no longer care for him. He has had several challenges in his life before coming into our home. His most challenge is he has separation anxiety. After five years of patient kindness this has almost disappeared. He came to me with a Teddy Bear as his companion. His first Bear disappeared one day, I think carried off by another animal so I bought him another Bear. I just recently brought another Gund "big Bear" as an additional companion. So "old bear" or "Big Bear" always travel with us to our Vet Office who always welcome one of Eli's Bears. Eli is frequently forgetful leaving one of his Bears in the yard or in the back seat of our truck. So my "job" is also always keeping track of "old Bear" and "Big Bear" He leaves them out less frequently and carries them back in the house after he goes outside to take care of business. Gund makes great, very durable bears and one of the Gund bears always travel with us
