I purchased this unit for its dimensions. I also bought two other chrome shelf units that were no more expensive but much higher quality. First, the clips used to lock the shelves in place go into pre-punched holes. This means you cannot decide for yourself how high each shelf is. That is fixed and not adjustable. The clips do not stay in place while you are trying to lower the shelf over the clips. I hade to use three pairs of vice grips to hold the clips while I lowered the shelves into place. What a pain in the butt. The shelf legs are not adjustable in case the area you are placing the unit is not perfectly flat. The other two units I bought have adjustable shelves and adjustable levelers for the legs. And finally, this is a wobbly unit. I would not buy it again.
