I installed this kit in a customer's 2005 X3 and everything worked great. It was easy to install and saved the customer a good amount of money. The original was in several pieces. This felt like a better quality product. The lights went out immediately after starting the vehicle after the repair.*****Update: Unfortunately, I hear the rattle and the 4X4 light is on once again. I believe it is broken. It lasted almost 3 1/2 months.******Update, I removed the actuator and the gear is worn on the edges. At this time, I am replacing the complete actuator motor.
